NationStates is a game inspired by the novel Jennifer Government by Max Barry. Although I haven’t read the book, the game is pretty interesting teaching a bit about government and international politics. It does have a few flaws because of the limitations of the game system but it is still educational.
Update: OK, I have played it for a while and I have come to the conclusion that the concept is pretty good, but the UN and Issues are no good. Disappointed, so I am giving it up.
