Oakland Zoo have taken in another two baby Mountain Lion kittens orphaned from the Zogg fires in the Shasta County. These sisters are the victims of the terrible fire season is California this year causing devastation to wildlife on top of the lives lost and homes destroyed.

The two female Mountain Lion cubs join another male which was rescued about a week ago with bad burns on his feet and named Captain Cal by the Oakland Zoo staff after Cal Fire’s mascot.

Captain Cal’s wounds are now on the mend and was moved close to the new Mountain Lion cub sisters to help them adjust in their new environment.
