Inspired by a tweet “Asteroid coming for Earth, who will save the Oreo’s?”. Makers of the Chocolate cookie set themselves to build the Global Oreo Vault in Norway, just down the road from the Global Seed Vault.

In case of a global disaster the Global Oreo Vault holds the cookie’s recipe, a few samples and some powdered milk at coordinates 78°08’58.1″N, 16°01’59.7″E.
